The ICANL Welcomes Kanny S. Grewal, MD, FACC, FASE, FASNC


ICANL DIVISION NEWS | Spring 2009

 

 

Kanny S. Grewal, MD joins the ICANL as a representative of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Grewal is currently employed by MidOhio Cardiology and Vascular Consultants, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio. He is Co-Director of the Cardiac Imaging Laboratory at Riverside Methodist Hospital, also located in Columbus. Since 1997, he has also served as an investigator for MidWest Cardiology Research Foundation, a division of OhioHealth Research Institute. His clinical interests include clinical and preventive cardiology and all aspects of cardiac imaging. Dr. Grewal earned his BS degree with honors from Kent State University and his MD from Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine. His internship and residency in Internal Medicine took place at MetroHealth Medical Center at Case Western Reserve University, and he completed his training through fellowships in Cardiovascular Medicine and Cardiac Imaging at the University Hospital of Cleveland and Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, respectively. Throughout his career he has authored and co-authored numerous publications and has lectured at national meetings. Board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology, Dr. Grewal is a Fellow of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography, and the American College of Cardiology.
