The New IAC Accreditation Agreement
UNIFIED VERSION REPLACES EXISTING AGREEMENT FOR ALL DIVISIONS
Summer 2008
One way in which laboratories will experience improved administrative efficiency is through the availability of the new, unified Accreditation Agreement. The division-specific agreements used previously have been combined into a single IAC document which reflects the new organizational structure. The need to produce a unified agreement was also an opportunity to review and update the terms and conditions of accreditation, and to revise the agreement for clarity. The new IAC Accreditation Agreement is available online, at www.intersocietal.org/iac/accreditation/agreement.htm. It must be submitted with all future accreditation applications. For laboratories already granted accreditation, the new agreement will be required when applying for reaccreditation.
